Bridget MacLeod is an artist living and working in Melbourne, Australia. She is originally from the South Island of New Zealand where she completed a Bachelor of Fine Art, Digital and Moving Image at the Otago School of Art, Dunedin. More recently, she has graduated from Melbourne University with a Master in Art Curatorship.
Bridget is interested in issues of ephemerality and impermanence, from which her love of vintage objects has grown. She is also concerned with the embellishment of the mundane through decorative forms. Most of Bridget's recent projects have been jewellery oriented, as jewellery seems to present itself as the perfect medium through which to combine these interests.
