CARING FOR YOUR JEWELLERY
Remember that many of the components of these pieces of jewellery are vintage and may be up to 50-60 years old - a little love and care will help them to last for many more years.
Apply your make-up, hair spray and perfume before your jewellery - the chemicals in them can damage or discolor the beads. In other words, put your jewellery on last.
Store your jewellery away from sunlight. The sun may cause pearls and crystals to fade or discolor. Try to store jewellery flat or looped - if not stored carefully the threading wire used can become bent, effecting the overall appearance of the piece.
